Pulled trigger on vintage chrono - The Military Watch Resource - Community Fora -

Two questions.

1, I have had lousy luck in the past with chronos. Break down whether it's a Poljot mechanical or a Seiko quartz. Any tips on trying to maximize service out the above Valjoux 7733 powered setup?

2, the strap on that one seems, well, odd. Yellow? Well it is an extroverted looking '60s watch. I lean toward a black leather aviator style, but would welcome other thoughts.

I've just been lucky enough to pick up my Grail watch; an RAF issue IWC Mark 11.

It came with a Bonclip bracelet but I'd rather wear it on a strap. The problem is that it has fixed bars.

I like the look of goat skin, can anyone recommend a suitable strap?

If you have a recommendation and a pic, I'd love to see it.
